

Romana was born on February 29, 1924 in Urayong, Bauang, in La Union, Philippines. She worked on her family’s farm, took care of her home, and raised 8 children. She migrated to the United States in 1975. Romana lived in Santa Clara, CA for many years before finally residing in Roseville, CA.
Romana was kind and gentle, as well as a hard-working woman of faith. Her devotion to God and love for Jesus has guided her through her long and full life.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Segundino (Remy), Francisco (Cleofe), Porfirio (Ellie), Claro (Tita), her daughters, Linda (Francisco), Amelyn (Steve), and Marilyn, along with their families. She was extremely proud of her 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Julio Zabala and her youngest beloved son, Albino Zabala (Vicky).
Visitation will be held at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm, with a rosary service at 7:00pm.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Peace Church on March 8, 2019 from 9:30am - 10:30am, followed by the burial at Romana’s final resting place, Mission City Memorial Park at 11:30am.
