Rosemarie Gamboa Nasca, age 59, of Roseville, California passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Rosemarie was born September 28, 1961.
Rosemarie is survived by her husband Jeff and four children Jennifer (33), Jeffrey (31), Joshua (25), and Jonathan (24). Besides her husband and children, she is survived by her mother, Cecilia Nosera, brother Crispulo Gamboa, and pre-deceased by Charles Nosera and Elvira Gamboa. She loved to cook, watch her game shows, and sing. She finds playing Bingo and hitting the casinos to be relaxing and she was always lady luck.
The phrase “stay-at-home-mom” didn’t exist. It was typical for women to stay home with the children while their husbands worked. But even by the standards of the era, Rosemarie was an extraordinary wife, mother, sister, and auntie. She cared deeply for her family. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help. She always ensured that every child or animal who crossed her threshold was safe, healthy, and happy.
It would be wrong to say that Rosemarie lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Rosemarie stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
My Mother's Presence
By Kelly Roper
My mother's presence always warmed our home
With peace and security and love.
She was like a gentle breeze that wafted through
Setting things right, creating a haven for us all.
Whatever problems we had, Mom solved them.
Whatever triumphs we had, Mom celebrated them.
Whatever needs we had, Mom fulfilled them.
Surely such a mother could never drift far
From those she loved with all her heart.
Though she has left her earthly body behind,
I feel her presence still.
Mom remains close to me, she knows my sorrow,
And she enfolds me in invisible arms I can still feel,
And she comforts me.
