Ruth Alice Pinon

Ruth is survived by her husband of 63 years, Nash, their three sons Gilbert, Jerry and Harvey, along with her siblings Manuel, Alejandro, Javier, and Luz. Ruth is preceded in death by her mother and father Rose and Alejandro; her son Manuel; and her siblings Robert, Arturo, and Rebecca. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was born on January 21, 1939 in Fresno, CA. She was the eldest of eight siblings. She met her husband at the age of 17 and was married at 19. She lived and worked in San Jose and retired from IBM after a long and fulfilling career. Ruth was an avid reader, often reading 2-5 books each month. She was a classic soul who always took pride in her appearance and adorned herself in her precious silver jewelry. Her love of Mariachi music was a sure fire way to bring her to her feet and dance the night away. Ruth lived a full life and believed in giving back to her community. Ruth was a devoted supporter of St. Jude. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to The National Shrine of St. Jude be made in her honor.
