Sharon M. (Vogel) Korn

Sharon M. (Vogel) Korn was born and raised in San Jose, California, to Genevieve and Lewis Vogel. She grew up with her sister, Carol, and was a proud member of the first graduating class of Del Mar High School.

Sharon was a loving mother to her daughter, Jacque. She was also step-mom to Diana, Denise, and Donald (deceased).

Sharon and Earl Korn shared nearly 47 years of marriage, building a wonderful life together in Santa Clara and San Jose. They enjoyed camping and exploring the open road in their RV, as well as traveling together on cruises to Mexico, New Orleans, and vacations to Hawaii.

Sharon worked for many years at Pacific Bell, later AT&T. In retirement, she and Earl enjoyed golfing, traveling, spending time with their friends and family, and their dog, Harley (RIP). She loved reading, especially Stephen King novels, and was part of a book club for many years.

Sharon passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 24, 2026, just one week before what would have been her and Earl’s 47th wedding anniversary.

Sharon was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
