Shirley Calvetti

On April 30th, 2019, Shirley Calvetti passed away peacefully in her Santa Clara home at the age of 84 surrounded by her family. Shirley was born on September 10th, 1934 in Pleasanton, California to Sophie and Anthony Pacheco. She married her husband, Alfredo Calvetti Jr in 1962. Prior to having two children, Shirley worked in a cannery. She then went on to be a stay at home mom for her two children, Lori Kern and Alfredo Calvetti III. She would become a grandmother in 1989, when her first grandchild , William Kern was born. In her free time, Shirley enjoyed latch hook, reading, puzzles, watching football, and Elvis Presley. However, she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She lived a very beautiful life, and loved her family deeply. Shirley was very dedicated to her husband Alfredo and family. She was blessed with her first great grandson in 2018. Shirley always loved her family. In her later years, she always remembered her loved ones. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alfredo Calvetti Jr, her two children Lori Kern and Alfredo Calvetti III, her son in law Stuart Kern and daughter in law Robyn Calvetti, her four grandchildren, William Kern, Melissa Kern, Owen Calvetti and Jack Calvetti, great grandson Emerson Kern and her beloved dog Molly.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donating to the Alzheimer's Association. The proceeds go to research finding a cure, treatments and preventions for Alzheimer's and Dementia. The information on how to donate is listed below.
