Silviano Garcia

Our beloved Silviano Garcia passed away Friday morning at 6:51am on September 7, 2012 at O’Connor Hospital. Silviano is survived by his loving wife Maria Garcia of 64 years and his children Helen Farotto, Dora Velasco, Silvia Ayotte, Raymond Garcia, Letitia Yanez and George Garcia as well as his 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Silviano was truly and honorable family man and loved by all in his community and neighborhood. Silviano lived a long and beautiful life traveling from Mexico across the United States and making a home in the San Jose community. Silviano was an active member of the St. Claire’s Parish and was well known for playing the guitar in the Parish’s choir every Sunday. Everyone in the community loved saying hello to Silviano as he passed by on his bicycle. Silviano made an impression on every individual he met and everyone will always remember his stories, songs, nicknames and lively character. He will be missed by many. The viewing will be held at the Lima Family Mortuary Santa Clara on Winchester September 12 from 5-9pm with a rosary at 7pm. On Thursday September 13th a mass will be held in honor of Silviano at St. Clare’s at 10am proceeded by the funeral at Oak Hill Cemetery.
