Dear Skipper, I know you're reading this from Heaven as you look down upon all those who loved you. You were such a light in this world, a character, an original, the persona of fun and friendship, a delight to behold and a blessed presence. I so enjoyed the years I spent in the Bay area in the company of you and your sisters. They were the best of times. I'll remember you always. Thank you, dear heart.

We can't think of Skipper w/ out smiling. We will miss her quick wit and kind heart.

I have only fond memories of Skipper! As a 45 year nephew in law of Skipper I think she was a great fun character. From the first day I met her on Alviso Street with Alice she always joked and had fun with me. I also returned her jibes with much gusto. 

Her Thanksgiving Day brunches were always a fun event with all her family and friends. I especially enjoyed playing cards with her in Capitola. She always wrote nice birthday cards and Melanie and I treasure the book of thoughts and sayings she put together for us when we were married in 1970.

Dearest Nurre Family, I cannot express my sadness for the loss of "Skipper". She will never be forgotten by those who knew her. RIP

On behalf of the Betz family in Sioux City, our thoughts are with you.  My dad Bill used to tell us fun stories of growing up with his Kriege cousins and his special  cousin Skipper. I was fortunate enough to meet her a few years ago.  I will remember her always.  Kevin Betz.

On behalf of my mom and dad (Buzz and Laura Mitchell) we are so sorry to hear of Skipper's passing. I will always remember the good times we all spent going on summer picnics when we were way young (some 55 years ago!) and spending time at the beach together. It was always so wonderful to see Skipper...she was always so happy and treated me like one of her own. Our best to the family. Love you Skipper!

Skipper was such a part of our lives.   We all remember her with such joy.  A good friend to my mom and to me and all the Kayser kids.  Love and sympathy to all.

I had the pleasure of meeting Skipper three times when I visited my cousins Leslie. She lives in the same complex. Skipper was always happy and welcoming. Someone you could never forget. When Leslie told me she had passed I knew how much she would be missed by so many people. I am so happy I had the pleasure of meeting her. My condolences to family and friends.

Sending so much love to the Nurre family. I feel so fortunate that I was able to visit with Skipper when she came through Mpls a few years ago. I will hold her close in my heart always. Our Mom is rejoicing with her in Heaven today, along with so many others. Not gone, just gone on ahead...

I was so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of someone I considered a true force. Her energy and sense of humor were contagious. I'm grateful for her friendship with my mom for so many years, and for each time we visited when I was in Santa Clara. Lots of love, Donna
