Tom passed away peacefully at the age of 65 at his home with his wife, Shirley Henry, by his side. Tom was born in Lubbock, Texas, and moved to California to attend the California Institute of Technology. He enjoyed a 42 year career as a computer technologist, most recently as a Business IT Analyst with the County of Santa Clara. In addition to Shirley, Tom is survived by his mother Katha, sister Cheri Earnest and cousins Melanie Gorohoff (Nick), Gwen Harrell, David Harrell and Richard Harrell. Tom's Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara, CA. The family would like donations to be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
