Loving father and husband, Vincent Aveni passed away on Saturday, June 19 after a tough battle with cancer. Resident of San Jose, California, he lived an abundantly happy life to the age of 71, earnestly touching the lives of everyone around him with his ceaselessly cheerful smile, lovable humor, and relentless compassion and kindness. His endlessly positive spirit is a reminder to everyone to spread love and joy throughout their own lives.
Vince was born on February 11, 1950 in Tripi, Italy as the youngest of three kids to Giuseppe and Vincenza Aveni. His family moved to America by boat when he was in the sixth grade, taking up residence in beautiful Sunnyvale, California.
Vince is survived by his wife, Irina; daughter, Joya; step-son, Mladen; brother, Tony; as well as several nieces and nephews.
