Virginia K. Keller

Virginia Keller passed away peacefully in Santa Clara, CA on Friday, June 17, 2016, at the age of 85. Virginia is survived by her loving and devoted children, Mary Teresa Keller, Joan Louise Leis, Celia Margaret Keller, Paul Joseph Keller, Anne Carmel Morgan, Laura Bernadette Keaton, Martha Frances Peebles, Justin Peter Keller, John Frederick Keller, Philip Augustine Keller, and David Nicholas Keller, and her cherished 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Virginia was an extraordinary wife, mother and homemaker, devoting 63 years of her life and her many talents to her family, raising her 11 children and later welcoming their families as her own. Her talents in cooking and culinary arts were exceptional. She greatly enjoyed traveling and learning about other cultures. Virginia held advanced degrees in music and literature and was a trained classical pianist, performing both in public and at home. She also enjoyed being outdoors, appreciating nature and animals. Reading and exploring literature was a favorite pastime. Virginia will be missed greatly and remembered always by her family and all those whose lives she touched.A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends, after which Virginia will be laid to rest next to her husband of 44 years, Robert Keller.
