I've known Yolanda since I was young boy playing for the Santa Clara Mighty cats. Her and my mother, Ana Samira Dykow, were great friends. My mom has since passed and Yolanda never stopped reaching out to keep in touch with me. I will cherish the memory of her life and the impact she made on mine. My auntie, my best friend, my fellow 49er fan....I already miss you more than you know. My heart is happy that you are now flying free, but my heart hurts trying to figure out how to navigate the rest of this life without you. Thank you for all of the love and precious memories we have shared. I will forever hold them in my heart. I always knew you were one of the strongest and most loving people I ever knew, but the amount of love and support that everyone that knew you has shown to our family during this time proves it. Dance, sing, smile, love, and hug Grandma, Grandpa, my dad and uncles for me Auntie. This isn't a goodbye, but it's an I'll see you later. Save me a set up there! I love you. ♥️🙏🕊️

We are so blessed to share beautiful memories together! Universal Studios and Santa Cruz were some of my favorite times together! I love you Yolanda!

We enjoyed organizing all those"Beach Potluck BBQs" at Sea Cliff with friends & family. Yolo and I would leave Santa Clara by 5am to get our favorite spot at Sea Cliff. Often she'd have Angelina & Isaiah and I'd have Kristiana with me and we'd stop in Los Gatos and pick up Pete & Lydia and we'd caravan over the hill. We would come in thru Rio Del Mar and drop all our stuff off and set everything up.  It would be completely pitch black dark out. All you saw was the moon shining over the water, so gorgeous. We always moved our cars before the park ranger made rounds except one year Pete delayed moving his car.  ThePark Ranger came by & gave him a ticket. He never made that mistake again.

 We brought a lantern and a colemen stove and would make hot cocoa with marshmallows till dawn. Then we'd make or chorizo, eggs & papas burritos and enjoy breakfast as we watched the sunrise. We made burritos for the workers that came by to clean out the bbq grills too. We always made too much food. I'm so grateful for all the memories Yolo & made together. Too many to tell.

Our trip to Reno for the weekend with Pete & Lydia. We also visited the area up in the Tahoe mountains where Yolo, Pete & Lupe's other brother's ashes were spread 💜

Riding quads with the boys in the Nevada mountains for Michael's 21st birthday was a blast. We also went white water racfting down the Truckee river too that trip. We sure had fun on all our adventures 💜

We had so much fun in Disneyland when we took Kristiana & her friend for their high school graduation. We all got our first tattoos, just us 4 girls in Hollywood on that trip too.

So many things to say but to those who don’t know Yolanda raised me part of my childhood so I have so many memories from her letting me sneak away from school just to hang out with her for the day to her amazing food!! You will be missed fly high and I will see you again
