When I think of Jane I remember her beautiful smile and laugh. She was just a wonderful person and Mom. We had so much fun with our California cousins throughout the years. You five kids were so wonderful to her as she got older. A great lesson in paying it forward. Thinking of you! Your cousin, Love,  Marg   ps just voted!

I loved when Phil and Janie would visit PA. We regret we never were able to visit CA. Both Janie and Phil left wonderful memories and are greatly missed. God grant you the ability to remember the good times and may they carry you all for the many years to come. Love T and Hollie

I was so saddened to hear about the loss of Mrs. Whiting, who was for so many years our beloved neighbor.  All the Whitings were so much a part of my sisters' and my childhood... and we're in our forties now!  All our love to Patty, Linda, Kathy, Doug and Scott - wish I could be there in person to celebrate her life with you.

So very sorry to hear about your Mom and my thoughts and prayers are with you.  Know how were hard it is right now and will be for a long time but just have to know what a amazing life she had and leaves behind a piece of herself in all her kids and grandkids to live on forever which is so very special as she was and always will be to you as well as your Dad.

My heart goes out to the Whiting family. It was a joy to visit with Janie and daughters this summer, re-living treasured memories from her abundant life. She has now joined my mother, her longtime friend from USC and the WAVES Bette Normile, in the next life. Sending love and condolences. Patrick Elliott
