

Joseph W. Noel. June 1, 1929-October 29, 2010. "Joe" died peacefully at his home in Westchester, California. He is survived by his adoring son Parker Noel. Joe graduated from Santa Monica High School and went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Southern California. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a Public Information Officer, Troop Information and Education.
His professional career in the Life Insurance business spanned over four decades. He held the designation of Chartered Life Underwrite (CLU) and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). He was Chairman of the Advisory Board of Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company, President of the Westwood Junior Chamber of Commerce, Director of the California Junior Chamber of Commerce as well as many more Professional and Civic Directorships.
He was very proud in the last years of his life to work with the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. The National Committee, located in Washington D.C. is a nonprofit nonpartisan organization, which acts in the interest of its membership through advocacy, education, services and grassroots efforts. The work of the National Committee is directed toward developing better-informed citizens and voters.
Joe was a gentle, kind and loving human being who showed respect and dignity to everyone he met. To be sure, he will be missed by everyone who knew him and the world will forever be blessed by his spirit.
