I actually met Patrick on Match.com. He was in search of meeting a female companion who would be willing to look past his honest confession of having pancreatic cancer, and would want to create a friendship which would possibly lead to an intimate relationship. We met at his apartment and had dinner on the Santa Monica pier. We never saw each other again, but talked on the phone many times. I regret not keeping in touch or offering to be there when he may need a friend. He spoke so highly of his love for his son and his parents. He fought so hard for his life, and I was so impressed with his strength and courage. RIP Patrick Webster. Please forgive me for not being a very good friend. My prayers are with your family and I pray that you are in Heaven with Jesus.

So sad to here of Patrick's passing.  He was one of the most positive minded people I've ever met, and always had something to work on.  We were racquetball partners for several years at the old Century West Club and he never quit on the court- as he didn't in his battle with cancer.  I will always remember our good times on the court and our talks afterward.

Patrick was a High School friend of mine. He always had a smile and a warm heart. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

It is with great sadness that I heard that Patrick has lost his battle with cancer.  I have fond memories of Pat from sixth grade and beyond.  He was such a positive and caring person, and I will miss him.  I am keeping his son and family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I worked with Patrick for many years. He had a wealth of knowledge, a constant smile, and a charismatic energy that will be deeply missed. My  condolences. He and his family will be in my thoughts & prays.
