Hi,
I remember Jack,
I travelled from my home in England to Santa Paula  to get some flying experience in 1990 and again in 91.
Jack let me a room in his elegant house in 8th street and we got on great I thought.
I flew to Catalina Island a number of times with him, great fun.
He was in Vietnam and told some good tales, some of them quite tall I think.
I remember his son,very tall who was also in the house and his fine daughter who lived locally.
That was the year of the plane/helicopter collision at the airport involving Kirk Douglas , the actor in which 2 "Pitts" pilots perished.
I remember Jack used to do TAI-CHI and I went along a few times.
I used to cycle to Ojai and back and sometimes to Ventura which surprised Jack alright.
He had 2 friends who had been on the trans Siberian railway for fun in their quite old age.
