He was a pipe fitter for 35 years. He loved building birdhouses, family gatherings, and sports, especially the Dodgers and shooting pool.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maudie, and father "BK" Perkins. He is survived by his wife, Deejane Perkins, sons, Garrett, Sterling and Taylor; daughter, Shilo; grandchildren, Ezekiel, Alize, Tamia, Tiana and Mekhi; four brothers, three sisters 14 nieces and nephews, 20 great-nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew.
Memorial celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 1, 2010 at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary in Fillmore, California.
