

Throughout her life, Pier Angela’s nurturing and loving spirit touched all whom she encountered. As a young women, she left her native Italy for a life of adventure and travels, eventually settling in California and marrying Salvatore Fiumerodo in 1969.
Pier Angela was vivacious, generous, and kind. All who encountered her always remembered her radiant smile, her beautiful Italian accent, and her unique charm and class.
For decades, she and her husband brought their Italian heritage to life in the restaurant industry throughout the San Fernando and Conejo Valleys.
Always caring for others, Pier Angela touched many lives in the Thousand Oaks area- providing child care services in her home for many years. Upon retirement, Pier Angela volunteered at the local senior center and enjoyed gardening. A lover of animals, Pier Angela was always comforted and accompanied by her dogs. Her greatest joy and achievement in life was her family. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was her happiest when surrounded by close family and friends. Most of all, she was deeply connected to her Catholic faith.
Pier Angela is survived by her husband, Salvatore (Sal) Fiumerodo, daughter Maria Teresa (Gigi) Fiumerodo, son-in-law PJ Singh, and grandson Lorenzo Singh.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 6, 2016 from 4:00-7:00pm at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary with a Rosary at 7:00pm. A memorial mass celebrating her life will be held the following day on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10:30am at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church 155 East Janss Road. Thousand Oaks, CA 91360. Immediately following the mass, there will be a light reception in the parish hall. The burial will take place at 2:00pm at the Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery 380 Cemetery Road.
