Allen Francis Chafin

Allen Francis Chafin, age 75, a native of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Saraland, passed away Sunday June 6, 2021 at his home. He was born on March 9, 1946. Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Beatrice Chafin. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Janice Robinson Chafin; children, Melanie Dietz and Brian (Kelli) Chafin; grandchildren Emily, Lauren, Sarah, Hunter, Taylor, and Calleigh; brothers, Fred (Betty) Chafin and Robert Chafin; brother-in-law, Fred Yearby, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Road Saraland, Alabama. The family will be accepting friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
