Audrey Emily Davis

Audrey Emily Davis is more alive today than she ever has been. She passed from this life into the arms of Jesus in her Heavenly home on July 24, 2023, surrounded by family and loved ones.Audrey leaves behind a legacy of selflessly loving everyone she met with such a big heart. To cherish her memory, she is survived by her husband of almost fifty years, Kenny Davis; daughter Amy (Shayne) Hubbert; four beautiful granddaughters that she was very proud of, Adrianna Hubbert, Alexis Byrd, Abby Hubbert, and Shyanne Hubbert; brothers James Chappell and John Chappell; along with a host of other close family and dearest friends.She is preceded in death by her parents John B. “Dock” and Jewell Boykin Chappell.Audrey was a loving wife, devoted mother/Nana and beloved friend to many. She served as a faithful member of Turnerville Baptist Church for forty years. She enjoyed bookkeeping for Armstrong & Associates for forty-eight years. She had a gift of giving and loving everyone she met. She truly had a servant’s heart and received joy in making others feel special.Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 at Turnerville Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors at 10:00AM. Service begins at 12:00PM. Graveside interment to immediately follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Officiating services will be Bro. Clay Lewis and Bro. Garry Harred.Pallbearers are Shayne Hubbert, Darren Bowden, Kaleb Bowden, Dale Rivers, Shaun Richardson, James Agerton, Chris Chappell, and Scott Chappell. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Paul Bowden, Nick Godbey, and Alan Rowland.
