

Barbara Ann Bingham Fowler, at the age of eighty-eight years, passed from this earthly existence into Eternity with her Heavenly Father on December 30, 2024.A native of Corinth, Mississippi, she was born October 7, 1936. Upon moving to Mobile in 1956, she worked in the Insurance industry before devoting herself to being a wife and mother. She was indeed a living treasure to her family. In 1990, she returned to work with Mobile County, joining the Department of Investigation and Recovery first serving as a Clerk Typist I and ultimately as court clerk.Of her many talents and accomplishments, it is noted that Barbara was a Master Gardener, adoring God’s creation with a love of flowers and plants. She also loved quilting and studying genealogy, and held an Associate’s Degree from Faulkner State. Above all she was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished being with her family, and she was a devout Christian.She is preceded in death by her husband of seventy years Bobby Lee Fowler; her parents Leon and Virgie Bingham; brother Paul Bingham; sisters Mary Sue Bingham Hammock, Caroline Bingham Strickland, Janice Bingham Gray.Barbara is survived by her children Karen Fowler (Chris) Vaughn and Keith (Cindy) Fowler; precious grandchildren Jordan (Sabrina) Vaughn, Lauren Vaughn (Corey) Windsor, Olivia Vaughn (Kody) Myers, Braden Vaughn, Kody (Aimee) Fowler; seven great grandchildren.
