Betty Leola (Lamb) Chisholm

Betty Leola (Lamb) Chisholm - Age 87; a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee and a resident of Axis, Alabama died Monday, July 25,2022 at her residence. Being a wife, being a mother, a grandmother and great-grandmother was the greatest part of her life. She loved life, she loved people, and she loved the Lord. Making people laugh and doing things for friends and family was a daily contribution. She was a faithful member of Axis Baptist Church. She was a Christian and shined her light for the Lord everywhere she went.

Our mother was the life of the party any place taht she was. Being an entertainer, was for her, as natural as breathing. She made the world a better place and spread love wherever she went. She was a beautiful person. She was the center of our world. to know Betty Chisholm was to love her!

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harland Chisholm; her parents, J. Kelly and Nellie Lamb; and her grandparents, Alfred and Minnie L. Lamb. She is survived by three children, Harland Doyle Chisholm, Janice Chisholm (Paul) Corley, and Darrell B. (Cheryl) Chisholm; four grandchildren, Trey George, Joseph (Megan) Corley, Bryan Chisholm, and Kaleigh Chisholm (Carson) Ludt; four great-grandchildren, Brodie George, Emily Grace George, Anna Katherine Corley, and Beckett Corley; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
