Betty June Williams

Betty Williams was born February 20, 1936 to Herbert and Nellie Fletcher in St. Elmo, Illinois. She died February 6, 2022 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She was raised in Joppa, Illinois and spent most of her life in Creola, Alabama. She loved Jesus Christ and trusted Him as her Savior.

She was a loving, nurturing, compassionate, and caring woman. She was friendly and always genuine. She enriched the lives of all who knew her and she will be missed more than words can express.

She is survived by her sons Keith Williams and Dennis Williams, along with her daughters Lori Taylor and Susan Uptagraft. She had seven grandchildren: Leanna Johnson, Dianna Williams, Daniel Williams, Greg Uptagraft, Brian Uptagraft, Sarah Georgiev, and Andrew Taylor, Jr.; great-grandchildren, and a great, great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 11, 2022.
