Blakely Paul McDonald

Blakely Paul McDonald, Age 30; a native of Saraland, Alabama and a resident of Semmes, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at his home in Semmes. Blake has been employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding as a shipfitter for 12 years. Blake had a sweet soul and infectious smile and personality. Everyone who met him just showered us with compliments. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Lee; grandfather, Phillip McDonald; grandmother, Wanda McDonald; and uncle, Lee McDonald. He is survived by his mother, Stacie McDonald; father and step-mother, Lennie and Mary McDonald; one brother, Chad Lewis; three step-brothers, David Fields, Jordan Fields, and Aaron Fields; one step-sister, Rachel Fields; his grandmother, Elizabeth Lee; one very special aunt, Nikki Lee; one uncle, Glenn (Crystal) McDonald; cousins, Fayth McDonald and Megan McDonald; one nephew, Gabe; two nieces, Lorilee and Elizabeth; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P. M. until 3:00 P. M. on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Road, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P. M. on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
