Brenda will be missed dearly in the Peachland community. She was always a very thoughtful and caring to everyone she met. We lived next door to each other for many years and shared many good times and laughs that will never be forgotten.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Brenda?
            
            A: I didn’t get to see Brenda very often but when I would see her she was always such a careing person.

I’ve been lucky enough to be able to know Ms. Brenda and even go on our first cruise together which now I’ll forever cherish. Ms. Brenda is the kindest, sweetest woman I’ve met. Every time I came over and saw her she always told me how pretty I was :’) 
Most recently, I was able to go to a Mardi Gras Ball with her and was able to witness her happiness, she was dancing, and of course telling me how pretty my dress was and me. Even when we got home she still was dancing in the living room lol, she wasn’t ready to end the party just yet. These memories I’ll forever be grateful for, to be able to be in the presence and know Ms. Brenda. You are so loved by so many, but we know the kindness you put in this world is coming back to you now in Heaven. God has gained a VERY special angel for sure.

Girls, so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. She loved you all and was so proud of you. Brenda had Mildred's sweet spirit and I know they are rejoicing and singing now in heaven!

My family resides in Wadesboro.  We attend church with Sandra Oliver. Brenda attended Cathedral Baptist church several times. She was such a kind sweetheart. She was always positive and uplifting whenever we talked with her. She loved her family so much. It was easy to see in the way she spoke gently to them. She was a pleasure to be around. We know familythat you will miss her. Hang on to those special times spent with her. They can add comfort to your hurt. Rest assured you will see her again if you have asked Jesus Christ to save and forgive you. That's where she is right now. She wants you to join her when your time on earth is over. Brenda was so sweet to me. All the time she knew me she was good to me. I know that she loved the Lord and she is with him now. After I lost my son Johnny, on his first death date she showed up with flowers and told me she was just thinking about me. Although her and Johnny separated she still remained like part of my family and I loved her like part of my family.

The world has lost a beautiful sweet soul but heaven gained an angel. I remember after my car accident your mama came by to visit me and see how I was doing. She really was one of the most thoughtful people I’ve ever met.

So sorry to hear this. She was such a sweet sincere person. Loved Graydon and Mildred. I know they welcomed her into heaven. 

I knew Brenda most of her life. My earliest memory was her Mama bringing her to Vacation Bible School in a little credit wagon.  I was a teenager,  helping in the class she was in.
Most of my memories of Brenda are from days at Peachland UMC. I always found her to be a sweet lady with a good heart.
Twenty years ago,  I  went through a difficult time in my life.  I ran into Brenda at a Thrift Store where she was working.  I was looking for a few pieces of furniture for an apartment I'd moved into.  She was so sweet and helpful, called me when things arrived that she thought I could use, and also.... just to check on me. 
She was a good and caring person,  who fought many battles throughout her time with us.  She mattered to me, and to many others. May she rest in peace, and may God comfort Miranda and her sisters.

We went to church with Brenda, her mother-Mrs Mildred and Miranda  at PUMC for a few years.  A very sweet family.   You have our sincere condolences.

Q: What will you never forget about Brenda?
            
            A: Will miss you and always love you and the moments shared when I would spend weekends with you and with the girls fly high sis we all love you and will miss you always. Your brother 

My dearest mother,

Words can not express the hole that is inside of me. I wake up in the mornings and have to remind myself that I dont need to get up as early, because theres nobody to cook breakfast for and give medicine to. I miss the morning times. I miss the evening times. I miss all the time I had with you. I am happy that I know you went to heaven with a full belly. I am happy you went to walk the streets of gold with freshly brushed teeth. Had I known Tuesday morning would have been the last morning with you, I would have taken off work that day. I would have sat and watched you TV shows with you. I would have went on one last walk around the block with you. Life will go on, but it wont be the same. Im glad I got to take you to your first MardiGras parade. Im glad I got to do your first race with you and see how happy you were to get to the finish line. Im so happy that I got to go on a cruise with you. Thank You for being my #1 fan through college. Because of you, I know how to love unconditionally.

Mama, so glad I was finally able to get you out on the boat before you left us. I’m glad that we did get to do some things that you always wanted to do like go to a Mardi Gras parade. I promise to take care of Miranda to the best of my abilities. I know how much you loved everyone around you and your gentle heart will not be forgotten. 

Sweet Brenda I am so thankful our paths crossed. You came down to visit family and you became a friend. You really enjoyed helping in the Food Pantry and you were a big help. I am glad you chose to be a part of our Sunday School Class. Your daughters loved you so much! We will meet again in heaven.

To the greatest sister of all time she was a sister she was a friend. It wasn’t a week she had didn’t come back or call. We went to many places together did many things together. I’m gonna miss her to the moon and back.
