Carolyn Grantham Wade

Carolyn Grantham Wade was born in Mobile, AL on December 23, 1952. She passed away in Pensacola, FL on June 17, 2025 after a long illness with Alzheimer's.Carolyn spent most of her life in Mobile County. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and making memories with her friends. She had an unwavering love for those closest to her.Carolyn is survived by her two children, Kristy Porter of Niceville, FL and Joshua Wade of Orange Beach, AL, and her four cherished grandchildren: Jessica Porter, Trent Porter, Caleb Wade, and Conner Wade. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched with her compassion and grace.Our family is grateful for the care provided by Marie Fisher owner of Florida Memory Lane of Pensacola, Florida which Carolyn spent the last year and a half of her life.Services will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Saraland, AL on June 21, 2025. Visitation will be held from 12pm till 2pm with the service immediately following.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
