Originally from Satsuma, Alabama, Cobin moved to Larned, Kansas, in 2026, beginning a new chapter in his life. He was a young man with many interests and dreams, always drawn to the things that made life an adventure. He loved the outdoors, video games, cars, and mythology, finding joy in exploring the world around him and the stories that captured his imagination.
One of Cobin’s proudest accomplishments was earning the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 113, a distinction that reflected his dedication and perseverance. He was also working toward becoming a mechanic, pursuing his passion for cars and building a future doing something he loved.
Above all, Cobin will be remembered for the kindness he carried in his heart. He had a way of making friends with just about anyone and was the kind of person who would be there when someone needed him. Although he could be slow to open up, those who earned a place in his heart discovered a wonderful person whose presence could brighten a room. Once his true personality shone through, his warmth and genuine spirit made him unforgettable.
Cobin leaves behind his loving mother, Amanda Gibson, and stepfather, William Wilson; his sisters, Lydia McVeigh, Lily Gibson, and Harmony Blackburn; his two stepbrothers, Russ and Drew Wilson; his beloved partner, Caleb; his grandparents, Ava and Keith Clement; and his aunt and uncle, Tyson and Cynthia Clement. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces, Phoenix, Ella-Bek, Oriana, Raven, and a little one still growing and waiting to be named. He will be deeply missed by extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by his presence.
Though Cobin’s time here was far too short, the memories he created, the friendships he formed, and the love he gave will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His kindness will not be forgotten, his presence will be deeply missed, and the light he brought into the lives of others will continue to shine through the people who loved him.
Cobin will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be a part of the hearts he left behind.
