Connie was an amazing soul. She gave her love, time & dedication freely. She followed peoples passion like it was her own. She stayed in constant contact with me during my 7 years of a 15 year federal prison sentence & made friends with the girls I was in with. She changed our lives. She was extremely instrumental in my receiving a presidential clemency from President Trump on January 20th of 2021. My heart will forever be with Connie! She made the world a better place & she will be forever missed 💔

Connie, just writing this is difficult because it forces me to acknowledge that you're gone.  I just can't decide what I'm going to miss most about you ... your wit, your smile, your company, or your hugs.  As I look through all of your pictures and the pictures that everyone has shared, I don't think I've seen one where you didn't have that amazing smile.  Every time I see a picture of you, I can imagine you smiling at me.  When I think about our last phone conversation, I think that summed up our relationship.  The conversation was a little serious, a little silly, a little emotional, with a little bit of fun and a few laughs (but I'll never be able to listen to Stevie Wonder's "I just called" without tearing up).  The world without you is going to be a little bit sadder.  You will hold a place in many people's hearts for a long time, but you will hold a special place in my heart forever.  I will do my best to spread smiles and happiness to those around me ... just like you, my big sister.

I don't even know where to begin. Connie was kind, generous and loving.  We first met in 1996.  We spent many years together and had so many wonderful experiences in life. I was blessed to share more than 15 years of my life with her.  I loved her very much. She was a big part of my life.  My family loved her and treated her as family.  We did everything together.  Running, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, fishing and camping, she loved them all.  She loved the outdoors. That is a passion we both shared. She was so strong in every sense of the word. She loved a challenge and always wanted to better herself.    Connie impacted many lives but I think she impacted mine the most. Her laugh and smile will stay with me forever. I am a better person for having shared my life with her.    Connie, you will always be in my heart.  Forever.

I worked with Connie at Nestle, such an amazing woman.  My condolences to family and friends.

Connie was and is my sister in law, even though her brother and I parted ways in 2000.  She was always more like my sister.  We still loved one another dearly and never lost touch.  She considered my husband now, her brother in law.  She was very special to me and my heart hurts because of this loss.  She had one of the most beautiful smiles and most contagious laughs ever!   I love you, Sis and you will be truly missed!

You were always so amazing at checking on me, and telling me how important I was. It hurts my heart to know I won’t get another random “I love you” text. You had such a way of making everyone around you feel so incredibly loved. Your smile was contagious even in the darkest of times. I know you & Lonnie are so happy to be reunited. Connie has impacted my life in a way she may never have known. She is dear to me and I’m so sad she’s gone. We made lots of great memories at Nestle. She will be missed.

Squirrel!!! You always said that we were peas and carrots and it's true. Looking back over 12 years of memories and photos made me realize what a big hole is left now that you're gone. We shared so many great moments, pushed and encouraged each other, listened, wiped tears, laughed ourselves silly and at times, just silently supported each other. The world may be a little darker without your smile to brighten our days, but Heaven sure is shining brighter with you bee bopping amongst the angels. Love you, miss you and I know you will be there waiting to drag me across the finish line when it is my time <3 ROLL TIDE!

I’d only known Connie for several years but it was so clear that she was a lover of people and of life. When I moved to Brandychase Condos in Tampa, she was the first to warmly greet me and make me feel welcome. We shared a passion for exercise and good conversation. She was Blessed to have such a loving family and friends. She is in the eternal loving embrace of  the Lord. Hallelujah!

A smile that would light up a room, race course or Bayshore sidewalk. A hug that could be felt before you even got close enough to embrace. An infectious laugh that made those around her laugh. A life gone way too soon. A beautiful soul I was fortunate to call a friend. Hugs and prayers for comfort to her family and friends. Connie, you are missed.

Always a hoot to be around with big a smile and laugh that was contagious.  I will miss her wit and smile and that special sparkle in her eyes that meant she was up to something.  Rest In Peace my friend.

I didn't know Connie well but she always had a big smile on her face and was so friendly when would see her at runs and races. So sorry to hear of her passing and praying for comfort for her family.

Connie was and will always be a special soul who touched so many lives - we are eternally grateful for the time she spent with us.

Connie made every run happier, every room brighter, every life she touched, fuller. Connie would say something, some remark no one else would have thought of, and it broke us all up, totally unexpected and totally Connie. I will cherish the memories. She was a gem, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the pleasure of her company over the years.

Words cannot express how much you meant to me. Thank you Connie for being a wonderful friend and running partner. I will always cherish the wonderful memories we had together at work and play. From our lunches either going to the gym, on a run or to eat our favorite sushi roll! You are truly missed. Your laughter and smile!

Connie was truly one of a kind.  Her smile, energy and personality will be deeply missed.  Rest easy my friend.
