Connie Thompson Cantrell

Mrs. Connie Thompson Cantrell, age 88, went peacefully home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2025. Born on November 25,1936, in Nichols, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Myrtle Thompson.Connie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Cantrell and 11 siblings: Olin, Don, Hazel, Dot, Bernard, Dennie, Franklin, Ellen, Bobby, Durward and Jimmy.She is survived by her loving children, Allen McLean Jr. (Gail), Angela McLean. Grandchildren, Lea Harris, Jackie Woodruff (Jordan) of Nashville, TN. Great grandchildren Kaylea McLean, Ariel Edwards, Zoey Edwards, Chance Evans. Annie Woodruff, Charlie Woodruff. Great - great grandchild Elyse Rushing. One sister Donnie Morris and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn Chapel in Saraland, AL on Monday November 17, 2025, at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 10-11am, interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen McLean, Chris McLean, Keith McLean, Austin McLean, Larry Vickers and Dudley Saucier. Honorary Pallbearer Chance Evans.The family would like to thank the Saad Hospice staff along with the staff from the Retreat who loved and cared for our mom during her final days. Thank you to all our friends who have prayed and encouraged our family during this journey.In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Kid’s Ministry of Redemption Church, Saraland, AL.
