

Daniel Dewey Alford, Sr., age 79, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026. He was born on July 9, 1946, and spent his life as a hardworking and dedicated millwright, providing for and caring for the family he loved so dearly.
Daniel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Patricia Ann Foster Alford; his parents, Olene Alford and Dewey Alford; his son, Donald Lee Alford; his sisters, Dolores Sandifer, Bernadine Marlow, and Shirley Alford; and his brother, Lavon Alford.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Dewey Alford, Jr.; his granddaughter, Laiken Danielle Munguia; his grandson, Daniel Dewey Alford III; his devoted grandson, Levis Munguia; his great-granddaughter, Laila Danielle Umanzor; his great-grandsons, Jacob Alexander Munguia and Aiden Ernaldo Munguia; and his sister, Patricia Alford Amos.
Daniel found his greatest joy in spending time outdoors. Whether he was working in his shop, tending to his garden, or taking his grandchildren on four-wheeler rides, he was happiest when surrounded by family. He especially treasured the time he spent with his best little buddy, his great-granddaughter, Laila Danielle Umanzor. He loved taking her wherever he went, and the bond they shared brought him immense happiness.
Above all else, Daniel loved his family. His love for his wife, Patricia, remained steadfast throughout their 55 years of marriage, and he loved his sons Danny Jr and Donny , his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren. His strength, wisdom, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will never be forgotten.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the values he instilled in those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
