Daniel (Dan) Maples, Jr., a lifelong resident of Turnerville, AL died on his 76th birthday, February 28, 2018. He is survived by his only child, Daniel (Danny) Maples, III; two sisters, Ruthie Evans, Patricia Woodard; one brother, William Ferguson, Jr.; two grandsons, Alan and Chase Maples; nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Dan was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Daleen; father, Daniel Maples, Sr.; mother, Annie Mae Maples Ferguson; stepfather, William H. Ferguson, Sr.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM with service at 12 Noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Presiding preacher will be Dr. Steve Walter; pallbearers are: Jimmy Evans, Brad Evans, Alan Maples, Rusty Mason, Jay Mason and Logan O’Rourke.
