Dannetta Pearl Brown

On February 27, 1965, Dannetta married her beloved husband, Steve Brown. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, family, memories, and experiences.

To those who knew and loved her, Dannetta was more than a name. She was “Momma,” a source of unconditional love and strength; “Granny,” a treasured presence in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and “Dee,” the dear friend whose kindness, laughter, and friendship meant so much to those around her.

Dannetta was devoted to her family and cherished the time she spent with the people she loved. She created memories that will be treasured for generations and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her family and friends.

Dannetta is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Brown; her daughter, Deisha Brown Butler, and her husband, Kevin Butler; her grandchildren, Kevin Chase Butler and his wife, Nikki Butler, and Chandler Lynn Butler Duke and her husband, Tripp Duke; and her four great-grandchildren, Grayson Woods, Demi-Lee, Lottie-Chayse, children of Chandler and Tripp, and Beckett Boone, child of Kevin Chase and Nikki.

She is also survived by her cherished cousin, Darrell Grimes, and his wife, Renea, as well as dear friends who will forever remember her as “Dee” and hold her memory close to their hearts.

Although her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her loved ones, her memory will live on through her family, her friendships, and the many lives she touched. The love she gave, the memories she created, and the legacy she leaves behind will never be forgotten.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. To her family, she will always be Momma and Granny. To her friends, she will always be Dee. And to everyone who loved her, she will always hold a special place in their hearts.
