He is survived by his best friend and very much loved, devoted wife, Beverly Middleton, his daughters Michelle Wilson (Rodger), Misty Lynd (Darrell) and Jessica Entrekin, his grandchildren, Leighton Taylor (Melissa), Kennedy Byrd (Brandon), Haylee Springer (Samuel), Madison Lynd (Jose), Sidney Lynd and Cadyn Lynd, greatgrandchildren, Kyler and Brantley Byrd, his siblings, Tim Middleton (Angie), Sheryl Young (Paul), Barbara Ann Terrell, Harold Middleton Jr, Chris Middleton, special nephew Paul Young (Shannon) and his much loved cat, Mollie.
Neal was known by family and friends as "PawPaw". He retired from the Terminal Railway/TASD 18 years ago to spend his retirement fishing, gardening and spending time at our camp at Millers Ferry, frying fish most Saturday nights with our close family of friends. Anyone that knew him, knew he had a larger-than-life personality and could tell some tails, some bigger than others. He loved his family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with them. He fought a courageous battle until the end but his heart was too weak to keep fighting. He was a one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all that knew him and was loved by all.
