Donna Carpenter Stewart

Donna Carpenter Stewart, age 66, a resident of Chickasaw, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Mobile. She was born in Millry, Alabama on February 14, 1955. Donna attended Christ United Methodist Church in Mobile. She worked for the City of Chickasaw as a fiscal clerk.

Donna is preceded in death by her father, Hermon Ben Carpenter. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Thomas Edward Stewart; her mother, Mary Virginia Adams Carpenter of Chatom, Alabama; daughter, Chelsey Danielle Smith; brother, Lamar (Renae) Carpenter of Thomasville, Alabama; nephews, Matthew (Kimberly) Carpenter of Jacksonville, Florida; Kyle (Kimberly) Carpenter of Montgomery, Alabama, and Devin Harrison of Jackson, Alabama; great-nephews, Kayden and John Carpenter of Montgomery, Alabama; as well as other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Rd. Saraland, Alabama. The family will be accepting friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Rob Couch will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Josh Smith, B.J. Reel, Jason Reel, Matthew Carpenter, Kyle Carpenter, and Devin Harrison.
