

Douglas Evans McAdams, 83, a resident of Satsuma, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in Pensacola, Florida. He was born in Columbus, Mississippi on October 26, 1936. Douglas retired from Scott Paper Company after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed working in his garden and fishing every chance he could.
Douglas is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mary Nell McAdams; parents, James Amos and Hattie Mae McAdams; sister, Patricia Davidson; and a brother, James Donald McAdams. He is survived by his children: Denise (David) Burroughs, Edythe (Tony) Makin, Gerald (Casie) McAdams, Tracy (Walter) Rigsby, and Jaton McAdams; grandchildren: Michael Burroughs, Steven Burroughs, Trevor Makin, Trenton Makin, Doree McAdams, Douglas McAdams, Shelby McAdams, Alex McAdams, Linden (Timothy) Davis, Daniel Rigsby, and Wyatt Rigsby; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 6, 2020 at 2:00 from the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The family will be accepting friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Wes Hall will be officiating.
