Gloria Marlene Kennedy

Gloria Marlene Kennedy, a native of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Saraland, passed from the earthy confines of this realm into the fullness of truth and eternity on July 6, 2025. Born February 8, 1935, she was ninety years of age.Affectionately known as “Nanny” by so many loved ones, she is survived by her children Rebecca (Art) Geuder, Butch (Colleen) Kennedy; grandchildren Melissa Luke, Rick Kennedy, Robbie Kennedy, Ronny Kennedy, Cliff Kennedy; great grandchildren Garrett Luke, Ella Luke, Anderson Kennedy, Fisher Kennedy, Fenn Kennedy, Mitchell Kennedy, Mallie Kennedy, Maury Kennedy, Kacey Jade West; siblings Harriet Womack, Dororthy Davis, and Cindy Barnett.She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years Mr. Clifford L. Kennedy; her parents Harold & Margaret Deason; sister Annette Jordan.Funeral service will be held Wednesday July 9, 2025 at Bayou Sara Baptist Church in Saraland, Alabama. The family will receive visitors at 10:00AM. Service begins at 11:00AM. Interment will immediately follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
