Howard Ronald "Big Ronnie" Marks

Howard Ronald “Big Ronnie” Marks, age 57, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 in Mobile. He was born in Tennessee on October 30, 1963. Big Ronnie was loved by everyone. He was an amazing, kind hearted, loving man. He was there for his family and would help anyone who needed it. He loved to tell stories about his life and his family. He spent time with his family as much as he could and loved having a house full of people to cook for. He loved collecting things, especially ball cards, old money and Batman stuff.

Big Ronnie was the owner of Adjustable Heat and Air for over 20 years. During those years, all of his sons have worked with him periodically, mainly Erin. The company was family owned and operated. He loved the work he did and the people he worked for. Ronnie, you are loved by so many people who will miss you every day.

He is preceded in death by his father, Howard “Poppy” Marks; mother, Pat “Nanny” Marks; and brothers, Bobby Marks and Jerry Marks. Big Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 3 years, Pam Marks; children: Howard (Bonnie) Marks, Jr., Erin (LeeAn) Marks, Eric (Nikki) Marks, Jeromie Holt, Tiffany (Chris) Holt, Joey Holt, Samantha Smith, and Frances Lair all of Mobile, Alabama; grandchildren: Stonie, Ryan, Hunter, Zac, Destiny, Gaby, Rosie, Al, Jordan, Jessica, Micah, Presleigh, Gabriel, Addison, Grayson, and Mason; Debbie Stevens, his best friend, Mike Miller, and nephew, Sammy Marks.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Rd. Saraland, Alabama. The family will be accepting friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
