James Ronnie Davis

James Ronnie Davis, age 75, departed this earthly realm to enter Glory on July 20, 2023.Born September 2, 1947, he was a Mississippi native and resident of Saraland, Alabama. Mr. Davis was a graduate of Vigor High School, honorably served his country for eight years in the United States Army Reserve and was a loyal employee of Syngenta where he worked as a chemical operator. He is also affectionately remembered as a fisherman and a talented bee keeper who cherished the Lord’s creation in the great outdoors.James is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mollie Marie Davis; children Shelley Terkeurst (David) of Daphne, AL and Janice Maherg (Tommy) of Satsuma, AL; grandchildren Josh, Melvis, Jason, Chris, Matthew, Mercedes; great grandchildren Hampton, Rosalie, Chrishtanna “Ray Ray;’ brother Roy Davis; and faithful feline companion Bobtail.He is preceded in death by his parents Burton & Cleo Davis; brothers Kevin Davis and Ray Davis; son Todd Davis and daughter Teresa Knight.Family will receive visitors Monday, July 24, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Saraland, AL from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in the Chapel at Forest Lawn beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
