Jimmy Ray Rogers

Jimmy dedicated 35 years of his life to working as a forklift mechanic, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and mechanical skill. His hands were rarely still—whether repairing machinery or enjoying time outdoors, he found purpose and peace in staying active.

A devoted father and grandfather, Jimmy cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his daughter, Geri Rogers; granddaughters Kelsey (Owen) Rotch and Paige Thomas; grandson Logan Beck; sister Julie Rogers; and two expected great grandchildren Bennett Rotch and Willow Cook. His parents, Bernice and Wesley Rogers, preceded him in death.

Outside of work and family, Jimmy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fan of Alabama football and relished any opportunity to be outdoors. Whether cheering on his team or soaking up the sun, these moments brought him happiness and connection.

Jimmy’s memory lives on in those who knew and loved him. May his legacy bring comfort and strength to all who carry it forward. A Graveside Service will be held on August 26, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
