John D. Evans

With profound sadness we announce the passing of John D Evans, loving and devoted father, grandfather and friend to all whose lives he touched, on November 2, 2022.He was born on June 4, 1949 in Fairford, Al to George Evans and Minnie C Evans. J.D enjoyed building, telling jokes, writing poetry and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers (Edgar, Otis, Eugene, and Robert Evans).J.D. is survived by his loving wife Sandra Evans; children, Laura (Brian) Gilley, Jason (Erica) Evans; grandchildren, Amber Bender, Chelsea (Scott) Boyington, Courtney (Taylor) Jones, Kaysandra (J.J.) Crouch, Brayden Hilburn, Britton Hilburn, Cole Evans; Great-grandchildren, Waverly Bender, Parker Boyington, Elliot Crouch; Siblings, Hubert (Patricia) Evans, Patricia (Shelly) Webb, Linda Baugh (Bud), Ina (John) Canterbury and numerous other relatives and friends.
