He was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow W. O’Ferrell, Sr. and Viola Lynch; a sister, Janet O’Ferrell, and a brother, Jimmy Dale O’Ferrell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Peggy J. O’Ferrell; sons Johnny (Scooter) W. O’Ferrell and Martin Dino O’Ferrell; stepchildren Billy Pitts, Jr. (Kim) and Brenda Pitts; six grandchildren Brian, Joey, Heather, Hollie, Ashley and Chelsea; and nine great grandchildren; brothers Woodrow W. O'Ferrell (Bernice) and Jerry O'Ferrell (Billie); and a sister, JoAnn Sullivan.
Johnny owned and managed the Texaco station in Chickasaw for years and is a retired Merchant Seaman. He loved to play poker and cards, feed his beloved cats and coons, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
