Lamar James Lovett

Lamar James Lovett, 70, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in Mobile, Alabama. He was born in Alabama on February 11, 1950. Lamar is preceded in death by his biological father, Arnold Lovette, mother, Connie Lolley, and brother, Jerry Lovette. He is survived by his father, Daniel Lolley of Chunchula, Alabama; son Leon Lovett of Mobile, Alabama; daughters, Jennifer (David) Lyon and Dana (Chris) Goodwin of Mobile, Alabama; brothers, Danny (Teri) Lolley and Cliff Lolley of Mobile, Alabama and Ronnie (Vicki) Lolley of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; five grandchildren: Laura Lovett, Jordan Lovett, Jacob Lyon, Ryan Goodwin and Aiden Goodwin, as well as other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2020 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Rd. Saraland, Alabama. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home Monday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow services at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Bro. Steve Norman will officiate.
