Larry James Lyons, a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and a resident of Georgetown, Mississippi, passed away on December 12, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama. He was 76 years old.Larry was born on November 18th, 1946 to J.B. and Velma (Freeman) Lyons in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, earning the National Defense Service Medal; the Vietnam Service Medal; Three Bronze Service Star Medals; and the Marksman Medal (Rifle-M-14).Larry worked for over 40 years for the Sony Montgomery V.A. of Jackson, Mississippi.He is survived by his Children: Ken (Jennifer) Lyons; Merredith (Wes) Perrett; and Stephanie Lyons; Grandchildren: Hunter Lyons; Cody Lyons; Louie Perrett; and Liam Perrett; Siblings: Sherwood Lyons; Annette (Ross) King; and Ann Lobread.Larry was preceded in death by his Parents: J.B. and Velma Lyons; Siblings: Rene Gullett; D.W.
