With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved LaWanda “Wanda” Guy on Monday, April 20th, 2026 at the age of 69. Wanda was a resident of Satsuma, AL and a member of Satsuma First Baptist Church.Wanda, whose love, strength, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She was the steady heart of her family and community - a woman defined by her selflessness, her strength, and her unwavering love for the people around her. She spent her life looking out for others, always putting their needs before her own. Wanda will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her resilience through life’s challenges, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she impacted.Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She played a central role in raising her grandchildren and was a constant source of comfort, guidance, and strength for her entire family. Her home was a place where people gathered, laughed, healed, and felt loved.She is survived by her husband Tony Guy, three children; Kimberly Dupre (Ryan), Pamela Pierce, Tracey Pierce. Seven grandchildren; Jacob Roberts, McKayla Howard, Kiersten Burgett, Kira Floyd, Alissa Reid, Jasmine Jones, Jet Jones. Ten brothers and sisters; RosaNell Jones, Sherry Dismukes (Ronnie), Jeanie Williams, Jody Stokley (Dewey), Reesa Taylor (Tim), Faye Hayes, Danny Griswold (Judy), Samuel Griswold, Tim Griswold, David Griswold. She is preceded in death by brother Dale Gardiner, and parents Nell Lee & Samuel H. Griswold, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with family visitation at 11:00AM, friends & family visitation at 12:00PM, chapel service at 1:00PM with interment to immediately follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
