Lydia Ann Bush, resident of Saraland, Alabama passed away at the age of sixty-eight years on August 15, 2026 in Mobile, AL. Born November 9, 1957 in Mobile, she was a student of Griggs Elementary, St. Elmo Middle, and graduated from Satsuma High School in 1976.
Lydia spent her younger years going to the beach with friends and siblings. She especially loved spending time with her sister Bev.
Reading, watching old movies, and enjoying game shows kept her days busy. She spent many years helping raise her three stepchildren and was also a devoted caregiver to her friend Sally. Lydia loved spending time with her nieces, affectionately known as the "80's Ladies." She will be deeply missed by her huge family; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Robert L. Bush and mother Lena Elizabeth (Williams) Bush.
Lydia is survived by her sister Beverly (Charles) Broome; brothers Jeffrey (Denise) Bush, William (Angelea) Bush, Robert (Melissa) Bush, Alan (Stephanie) Bush; bonus children Sam, John, and Lauren Calderone.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on August 29, 2026 from 2:00-5:00PM at Sanctuary Assembly of God Church, 13810 Celeste Rd., Chunchula, Alabama.
