Mary Louise Stanley Becton

Mary Louise Stanley Becton, age 93, passed away on October 17, 2021 at her residence. She was devoted to her husband and children. She loved her church and teaching her Sunday School Class. Above everything she loved the Lord with all her heart, read her Bible through each year, and taught her children by her example to live life with Jesus in your heart and His Word as your guide.

Mrs. Becton was born on October 29, 1927. She grew up in Cullomburg, Alabama and her parents were William Green Stanley and Edith Elena Floyd Stanley. She was the youngest of 9 children and the last surviving member of her family.

Mrs. Becton was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, West Berry Becton, Sr., her daughter, Lisa Anne Becton, her first grandchild, Julie Jones, and her son-in-law, Jimmy Lowe. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Patricia Hildreth (Ray), Lorraine Jones (Charlie), Debby Lowe, Berry Becton Wilson, and her son, West Berry Becton, Jr. (Victoria); her 8 grandchildren, Dan Middlebrooks (Catherine), Suzanne Jones Prince (Ty), Courtney Lopez-Quintana (Charlie), Dr. Miranda Ferguson (Jeremy), Morgan Mariel Lowe, Joshua Padgett (Ashley), Jana Padgett Dunn (Derek), Jenny Williams; 9 great grandchildren; and her caregivers Amy and Diane Waite and Traci Preyer.
