She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Moon; and her son, Charles E. D. Moon.
She is survived by her four children, Jacque Moon Hagood (Curtis), Charlotte Christine Moon Moore, James Randall Moon (Tina), and Sharon Moon Prestridge (Lee); her eleven grandchildren; her eleven great-grandchildren; her parents, John and Anne Mason Gilchrist; and her sisters, Edwina Stephens (Jeff), Myrtle Wynn (Dan), Theresa Estes (Lamar), and Carole Jones.
The family will receive friends and visitors on Friday, May 24, 2019, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
