Merita Fran Mathers Carroll

She is survived by her loving husband of 5 years Thomas Carroll; her daughter Miranda Jane Smith of Satsuma, AL and son Mackenzie Shay Cooley of Deridder, LA; her grandchild Madeline Jane Jemison; her mother Betty Jane Brown and step-dad David Brown of Axis, AL; her father Bobby Mathers of Hurley, MS; siblings Ronnie Mathers of Semmes, Cathy Walley of North Pole, AK, and Jackie Maxwell of Chunchula. She is preceded in death by her brother Tommy Mathers and her granddaughter Mia Rose Jemison. Merita was a Registered Nurse and graduated from the USA Nursing program in 2006. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Rd., Saraland, AL 36571 followed by interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
