Michael Thomas "Bocky" Long, age 49, brought his earthly journey to its conclusion on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.He was born March 15, 1973, a resident of Turnerville, Alabama and affectionately known as Tommy. He is survived by his father Gerald Long, brother Jason Long, and beloved nephew Jordan Long. He is preceded in death by his loving mother Vickie Long.Tommy is remembered as a friend and a rock to everyone, a caring and selfless man. He never asked anyone to help him, yet he freely gave his help to others. He brought great joy and was a trove of knowledge to his family and friends offering his advice and assistance to all, especially his favorite little Buddy, Jordan. Tommy’s flame will not be extinguished. It will be carried on by the many whose lives were touched by his.A memorial will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
