

On January 23, Norman Harold Sanderson of Eight Mile, departed this life for his heavenly home. Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Sanderson; parents Norman and Bernice Sanderson; siblings, Alfred Sanderson, Hilda Collins, Dean Strange, and Roy Sanderson. He is survived by his children Mike (Gloria) Sanderson, Becky Swindle, Ken (Julie) Sanderson, and Darlene Parker; grandchildren, Alan and Jessica Howell, Dillon and Logan Sanderson, Jason and Les Cochran, and his dog and sidekick, Bella.
Harold was born in Tallahatta Springs, Alabama on July 1, 1937, and was a retiree of Teledyne Continental Technologies. He loved all things lawnmower; especially if they were broken down. Harold accepted Jesus as his Savior after the death of his beloved wife and fishing partner. It is with great joy that we know that he is with his Savior.
1Thessalonians 4:13 ~ 14
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as other which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to the staff at SAAD's Inpatient Hospice for their care in his final days.
