Patricia Joiner Oxner, 75, of Ladson, SC, wife of James Edward Oxner, Sr. died Thursday, August 31, 2017. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Road, Saraland, Alabama 36571, followed by inurnment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Road, Saraland, AL. Patricia was born July 5, 1942 in Jackson, AL, daughter of the late Raymond D. Joiner and the late Dorothy Mitchum Joiner. She was a member of Living By Faith Baptist Church of Summerville, SC. She is survived by her husband, James E. Oxner, Sr.; two sons, Michael Oxner and wife Shiralyn of Ladson, SC and James Edward Oxner, Jr. and wife Margaret of Marksville, LA; daughter, Pamela Elizabeth Guedry and husband Charles of Gonzales, LA; two sisters, Delores QuitiQuit of Tempe, AZ and Betty Lou Beglinger of Seattle, WA; and three grandchildren: Jacob P., Mckayla L., and Dorothy Y.
